엔진은 최상의 상태로 유지 되어 있어도 언제든지 꺼질 수 있다는 사실을 인지하고 항상 점검하고 비행시에는 비상시 착륙을 염두에 두어야 한다.
2 Cycle 엔진은 한달 이상 운항하지 않고 그냥 두면 안된다. 정기 적으로 시동을 걸어 줄것!

Maintenance of Various systems:
1. Ground Test –smooth engine run 체크, take-off RPM체크
2. Level Check of liquids – fuel, oil, gear box oil, oil injection lubrication oil, coolant level
SPARK PLUGS
1. 항상 두개씩 교체한다.
2. 두개 다 white electrodes with melt droplet – lean mixture, lack of fuel, incorrect floating system, cooling system 체크
3. Heavy oil deposit – 교체
Tightening torque: 27Nm(238 in lb) only on cold engine
